fly2help Summer to Autumn Newsletter:
Its been a very busy summer for us here at the fly2help HQ in Gloucestershire.
We have worked with two other amazing local charities and delivered aviation inspired experiences to nearly 100 beneficiaries. This included two large Air Smiles days for the Adult group of the Gloucestershire Young Carers and Charlie’s Cancer Community support group alongside 5 Aim High, Elevate and Smile airport taster days for the Junior Young Carers. What an amazing time had by all with an average feedback of 4.75/5*. The newsletter captures quotes from these events plus many other smaller, more traditional family Air Smiles events.
Some highlights include Dawn once again pulling out all the stops for an event down at Bournemouth; a new pilot, David chauffeuring and hosting a family up at Hawarden and Brett, also new to us, helping facilitate a trial flight, that had been kindly donated to us at the ACA 25 Expo, to a father and his son who had always dreamed to go flying.
Once again, without our wonderful donors, supporters, volunteers and pilots, none of these events would be possible. The team extends heartfelt thanks to all who helped make all these events so special.
