Stiff Competition for
Kemble Scholarships
Final selection for the 2008 Kemble Airport Flying Scholarships
took place at Kemble on March 15th and attracted an extremely
high calibre of candidates. Each of the applicants was given
a testing interview by a panel including representatives from
Kemble, fly2help
and Ultimate High flying school. At the end of the day, the
panel had the unenviable task of selecting the lucky ten who
will return to Kemble in three weeks time for the start of
the two-week scholarship programme.
"We would have been delighted to have taken any of the
candidates we saw today", said fly2help
CEO and panel member Phill O'Dell. "Each of them showed
a strong willingness to learn combined with real passion for
aviation. We are extremely pleased with the successful scholars
and can't wait to welcome them back to Kemble in a couple
of weeks!"
Congratulations to the successful candidates, and a great
deal of credit to all the applicants for making the panel's
decision so difficult.
