Kemble Air Show - 20th/21st
June 2009 - Another Success!
fly2help
saw another fantastic event when we were present at the Kemble
Air Show 2009. This year the event was held over two days
and we were lucky enough to have a presence in three locations,
which consisted of our main stand, a small stand in the V.I.P.
enclosure and special thanks must go to the Royal Artillery
who again allowed us the proceeds from their electronic climbing
wall. Thank you all for your very generous support.
For this year's raffle, we were honoured to be in partnership
with the RAF Benevolent Fund, the prizes being a trial lesson
in the fly2help
Chipmunk and a Limited Edition print signed by the artist
Flt Sgt Andy Redfearn. We would like to thank all who so generously
purchased tickets!
Our heartfelt thanks must again go to our team of volunteers
who unstintingly give their time, energy and good humour to
all our events and without whom these events would not be
possible - Thank You!
Finally, fly2help
would like to thank all the members of the public who so generously
contributed funds through the above and through direct donations.
The final tally is not in yet, but between the raffle, climbing
wall and individual donations, we are anticipating a figure
of approximately £1,048.00 which is a tremendous sum
and ensures more blue skies and smiles are on their way -
Thank You!
