A fun evening was had by all on Saturday 3rd May 2008 when
The Five Bells at Woodspeen nr Newbury kindly hosted a pub
quiz in aid of fly2help.

Final selection for the 2008 Kemble Airport Flying Scholarships
took place at Kemble on March 15th and attracted an extremely

On Sunday 16th March 2008 four incredibly fit and kind members
of TAG Aviation UK Ltd braved the elements in order to take
part in the Fleet Half Marathon to raise funds in aid of the

at AV8 Beach Party
Five tonnes of sand and a surf riding machine were installed
in a marquee at AV8 on Saturday 26th January to help a Beach
Party go with a swing. Whilst raising funds for fly2help,
over 100 guests enjoyed a beach barbecue themed meal to celebrate
one year of AV8 management under proprietor Neil Griffiths. Read the full story

Kemble Air Day - 17th June 2007
Mandy and the team would like to thank everyone for supporting
the Foundation
raffle at the Air Day. We are delighted to announce that the
winner of a flight in our beautiful aircraft is Adrian
Exton of Melksham, Wiltshire. Adrian has chosen to
fly in the Chipmunk that was on display and is apparently
still smiling three days after the phone call advising him
of his win!... plenty more smiles to come yet Adrian!
Thank you also to the ambulance man that was accosted to
draw the winning ticket!
We hope you all enjoyed a great day... and without the rain... bonus!

Fleet Air Arm Squadron Visit - 23rd May 2007
fly2help
were invited to share a presentation with the Fleet Air Arm
Squadron during a VIP visit to Rolls-Royce at Filton. The
Squadron very kindly supported the
Foundation and we would like to thank
them for their very generous donations totalling £600.00.
Chippie Joins the Team
Chipmunk
G-BYSJ (RAF Registration WB569) was safely delivered from
the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford to her new home
at Kemble on 4th January 2007. Everyone at fly2help
was excited to welcome the newest member of the family and
she has already attracted significant attention through the
Flight Academy.
