Nat Nixon - Dispersals Manager
Nat
Nixon was introduced to fly2help
by her husband Mike, one of the charity's Trustees. "Mandy
needs a hand in the office" was the cry for help, and
she quickly moved from answering the phone, stuffing envelopes
and trying to find her way around the computer system to organising
the beneficiary days, finding pilots and aircraft for future
events. She has just gone "solo" with a hugely successful
beneficiary day in June - "to see smiles on faces is
what it's all about".
Nat's husband Mike was in the Fleet Air Arm for 31 years
so she feels very at home on an airfield. They have two married
daughters, and one granddaughter. Her hobbies are gardening
(secretary of her local garden club), cooking, sewing, walking,
golf (which she plays very badly but thoroughly enjoys), skiing,
and snorkelling (in warm waters only!).
