"Today I feel like I have been set free, you have looked
after me and my daughter and today I haven't had to worry
about a thing, I cannot remember the last time I felt like
this."
"Life has been so hard since we found out our daughter
was ill, the hospice has been hard to accept, we never thought
that we would be able to have days like this; to be with other
parents who understand has been so positive. We do not know
what the future holds but this day will give us lasting wonderful
memories."
"On a more joyous note we had just the best day yesterday.
In fact I had just the best day before 9am in the morning!
All was completely fantastic, impossible to choose a highlight,
although the RAF guys spring to mind! Lewis and Michael Underwood
were gorgeous and everyone so lovely and helpful, it couldn't
have been better. Everything went like clockwork. The Chinook
was amazing. The private jet just another world. Oh and Disney
wasn't bad either! Not to mention the bag-loads of stuff the
girls were given."
"This day was indeed complex to arrange and manage and
every member of your team's dedication to making it such a
success was just so obvious. Everyone put the children and
their families first and committed their time, energy and
enthusiasm, together with working alongside teams from other
organisations, it is clear what an achievement the fly2help
team has made. It has been a true pleasure to work with you
all and to be able to share with you the difference you have
made to these six very special, very courageous families.
Memories like these, as you now know will all too soon become
priceless jewels in a family's memory box, when sadly they
will only have memories of their special child left. Thank
you all for creating this special memory." (Bridget Turner
- Deputy CEO, Chase Hospice)
