Demographics of those we support
The current breakdown is as follows: 60% 11-19 year olds,
30% adults and 5% each between young children and the older
age groups. This changes on a weekly basis as our aim is to
support anyone who we believe will benefit, regardless of
age, background, or disability.

Foundation's culture and brand values
SMILES, nurturing, available, passionate, enthusiastic, upbeat,
empathetic, welcoming, determined, fair, understanding, exciting,
compassionate, practical, helpful, personal, respectful, friendly,
fun, safe, inspiring, aware, brilliant, flexible, conversational,
sympathetic, imaginative, happy, proud, capable, public spirited,
positive, committed and realistic.
On-going work and support
As a young charity establishing ourselves and fighting to
meet our critical mass, we are seeking long-term support and
core funding for both on-going work as well as individual
projects.
Short term objective - Years 1 & 2: To support our local
community and neighbouring counties as well as that of a sponsor.
Initially we hope to directly support 300 people per year.
Mid-term objective - Years 3 - 5: To be putting smiles on
the faces of families in homes nationwide - whether via education
in schools, community groups, like-minded charities or by
concentrating on disadvantaged individuals.
Long-term objective - Years 5+: To continue facilitating
and sharing the liberation of the skies within Europe.
Measuring our success
Our Trustees and our Committee have many years experience
of working in industry and fully appreciate the benefits of
follow up in order to measure effectiveness. We have a number
of metrics designed to track the value of our work at the
time but just as importantly, also the effects and value for
the years to come. We wish our efforts to endure in the minds
of the individuals concerned. We are about raising self esteem,
confidence and outlook.
Opportunities to involve staff within a partnership
The opportunities for engaging the employees within a supporting
organisation are limitless; from establishing contact with
potential beneficiaries, through to regular secondments. We
are in need of advertising, fundraising and events management
skills, time and resources.
Other possibilities include volunteer support for event days;
encouraging the use of our facilities for staff incentive
schemes; corporate entertainment possibilities (all profits
from training courses or experience benefit the
Foundation); fundraising on
behalf of the Foundation,
for example, through regular donations, organising in-house
fundraising events and raising awareness.
Opportunities for involving the customers of a supporting
organisation
We have great plans for our future with a fundamental belief
that we need to maintain, at our very core, a fun loving band
of people as our supporters. As with employees, the opportunities
for offering support are endless. Customers can also enjoy
the freedom of the sky (at the same time as supporting the
Foundation) by purchasing flight
gift vouchers; or by donations each month per household; they
can partake in regional/national schools competitions, or
even partake in joint organisation regional competitions.
