Events and Air Smiles Days

The Rawlings Family - Air Smiles Day 29th June 2009

The Rawling familySophie and Millie are both very brave and special little girls who certainly deserved a "reward" for several bad years and on-going medical problems suffered by both.

The family had a wonderful day at Kemble with visits to the Tower and Fire Station, but the highlight was the flight in the Longranger helicopter. The 30-minute trip took them over Castle Combe Race Track, down to Devizes, over the Kennet & Avon canal and flight of locks, before returning to Kemble passing over their home in Swindon.

Despite the deep trauma and upset faced by this family, it was smiles all round.

Emma wrote - "It was a lovely experience that brought the family closer together again for real quality time. The day was like a breath of fresh air for the whole family. We could forget everything else and just enjoy the moment."
