After a week of truly terrible weather the sun shone brightly and the winds calmed down for Josh's extra special day of adventure with fly2help. An absolutely perfect December morning dawned bright and clear as the Wall family arrived at Cotswold Airport , for what was to be a truly memorable day out together. Saxon and Dean - Air Smiles Day 26th October 2011
On a crisp and cool October morning two special families arrived at Cotswold Airport for their much awaited Air Smiles Event. Full of anticipation, they awaited the arrival of the fantastic Socata TBM700 Turbo propeller aircraft. After the arrival welcome by the fly2help team, Ashley the pilot soon arrived in his wonderful aeroplane. Saxon, with his mum Jeanette and sisters Maddison and Bayleigh-May, together with Dean and his mum Lucy and partner Gary, looked on in amazement as the aircraft landed and proceeded to taxi to its parking position. Young Adults from the Spring Centre - Air Smiles Day 30th September 2011
The weather could not have been more perfect as 7 young adults and their 3 carers arrived from The Spring Centre for a day of adventure with fly2help. Despite it being late September, the sky was blue and the temperature balmy. The young adults all live with various severe learning disabilities, including Down's Syndrome. This was an opportunity of a lifetime for them to get airborne, as well as enjoy a bespoke VIP day out at Cotswold Airport. Read more
The Wilson Family - Air Smiles Day 21st August 2011
On a wonderfully warm and sunny morning the Wilson family arrived at Cotswold Airport to begin their fly2help 'VIP' day out together. Tragically, one member of this family, Stuart, had lost his wife to illness a few months ago leaving behind two very young sons, one of whom has also suffered serious health complications. The family group were in great need of a fun and relaxing day out after all they'd been through in recent months. Read the full story

On a windy and showery morning 8 very special guests, along with their supervisors, arrived at Cotswold Airport for a day of adventure. The weather was trying its best to stop 'play' but the enthusiasm and optimism of the children shone through. Matty - Air Smiles Day 22nd May 2011
Mid-morning on a gusty sunny Sunday Matty with his brother Adam and his best friend Aaron arrived together with Jan, Paul, Rick and Steven. The day was hoped to provide the family a welcome break and help boost self esteem and confidence. Megan - Air Smiles Day 26th April 2011
On a rather cold and cloudy April morning a very special guest came to Cotswold Airport to enjoy her very own Air Smiles Event. Megan, aged 4, was born with serious health problems and had undergone several major surgical procedures. On a very calm and dry Saturday Spring morning a very special family arrived at Cotswold Airport full of excitement in readiness to experience their own special Air Smiles Event. After welcoming refreshments and completion of paperwork, Georgia, together with Olivia, Alicia, Martin, Aleiha and Beau, was introduced to Steven, the pilot of the Piper Malibu aircraft that was awaiting them, gleaming brightly in the April sunshine adjacent to the Control Tower.
