fly2help will run its successful Aim High programme at Gloucestershire Airport again in February.
Aim High is a free to join career information programme that helps young people learn about the world of aviation, gain knowledge of the breadth of career paths available to them and have the opportunity to talk to people working in the industry. The programme is open to students aged 14-18 through an online application and subsequent interview process. 10 successful candidates are then awarded a place.
During the week at Gloucestershire Airport, scholars will spend time in Air Traffic Control, visit aviation companies on the airfield and receive presentations from aviation experts. They will go behind the scenes at the airport companies which is a unique opportunity.
Each student will also benefit from a flight simulator experience and a flight in a light aircraft if the weather is good enough!
Students can apply for the scholarship via the fly2help website here: http://fly2help.org/aim-high-application-form/ The deadline for applications is Monday 28th January and interviews for the Gloucestershire Airport programme will take place on Saturday 2nd February.
