Roger Milburn
Roger
spent 36 years in the RAF, flying Chipmunk, Jet Provost, Gnat,
Hunter, Hawk, Varsity, Dominie & Hercules aircraft and
has over 11,000 military flying hours. He has served in the
Falklands, Africa, Oman, Iraq, Afghanistan and operated worldwide.
He spent two seasons dropping the RAF Falcons Parachute Display
Team and was a Hercules formation Captain. He worked up as
a display pilot on the Vintage Aircraft Team's Jet Provost.
Until recently he part-owned a Tiger Moth. Roger kept his
hand in flying the Chipmunk throughout his career, sporting
over 400 hours on type. His passion for flying is undiminished
and he instructs on several aircraft types at Kemble and as
a Hercules instructor in the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.
