Bill Perrins (Billy
P) - Chief Instructor Chipmunk
'Billy P' was in the RAF for 19 years, during which his time
included tours on Tornado F3 fighters, Vulcan bombers, Jet
Provost and Hawk aircraft. He has over 12,000 hours flying
experience and now works fulltime as training captain on Boeing
747-400 aircraft for Virgin Atlantic. In his spare time Bill
instructs at fly2help,
which fits perfectly with his passion for vintage and rare
aircraft. He already has around 1000 hours on 'taildraggers',
including over 500 hours flying Chipmunks. Bill is also often
the envy of many a pilot when he has the privilege of displaying
one of the leading ladies of the skies ... the Rolls-Royce
Spitfire!
